What does the world need from us tomorrow?
This is the question that flows through our history as an institution, as far back as the days of the Iowa State Normal School in 1876.
Across 150 years, we’ve built colleges and programs and iconic spaces. We’ve sent tens of thousands of Panthers out into the world to build schools, businesses and communities across Iowa and beyond. We’ve built a community of people who stand strong and stand together, but never stand still.
Because we never stop thinking about what our students, our state and our world need from us in each new generation — and now it’s time to ask ourselves that question again.
Be part of history in the making
Come home to UNI Friday, Oct. 7 as we launch a tomorrow that’s bolder and more ambitious than we’ve ever dared to imagine — a fundraising campaign that will create a brighter tomorrow for today’s Panthers and those in the generations to come. Join us Friday evening for a celebration of Our Tomorrow: The Campaign for UNI before we cheer the Panthers to victory Saturday.
Friday, October 7 / 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Gather between the Commons and the Campanile — there’s something for everyone!
